WiTEC was formed as a network in 1988
After more than ten years of networking and project activities related to women and STEM it established itself as a non-profit European association in May 2001.
WiTEC SWEDEN
has been a part of WiTEC EU since its inception in 1988. The European network is constantly evolving, and the goal is to establish member organizations in all countries in Europe.
Since 2017, the International Secretariat is located in Båstad, Sweden.
NEWSLETTER
Four times a year, WiTEC EU publishes an international newsletter distributed to all members in Europe, with news from the various member organizations.
